Two bedroom house Nawalapitiya
A fully functional modular residence developed in Nawalapitiya, this two-bedroom container home includes sleeping quarters, living space, bathroom, and pantry. It represents an affordable and practical alternative to conventional housing, with compact design and sustainable materials. Ideal for semi-urban residential expansion or workforce accommodation, it proves container housing can be both efficient and dignified.
Hotel Rooms - Soul Resorts, Dikkwella
Developed for Soul Resorts in Dikwella, this project involved creating stylish, container-based hotel rooms with elegant interiors, sea-facing windows, and complete amenities. The units were pre-fabricated offsite and installed quickly with minimal impact to the landscape. 20 FT Cafe - Galle Face
Set along Colombo’s iconic Galle Face promenade, this 20-foot café container offers a fast and functional food service space. Equipped with a serving counter, power supply, and ventilation, it was designed for high-footfall areas. The project proves container units can be used for compact, mobile food and beverage operations in urban landscapes.
Pop Up Shop - Serenity Resort, Mirrissa
This modular pop-up boutique store, located within Serenity Resort, was designed for flexibility and seasonal operation. Its sleek, tropical-themed exterior and compact interior make it ideal for clothing or souvenir retail. Built offsite and deployed instantly, it serves as a low-cost, visually striking solution for resort-based commercial activity.
Kiosk - Nuwaraeliya
A compact retail kiosk positioned in a tourist-heavy zone, this unit includes shelving, power points, and secure shuttering. It was designed for use by local vendors or small businesses needing a stable presence in public markets. Its minimal footprint and clean presentation demonstrate how modular kiosks serve commerce with ease.

This custom sitting room container was created for Litro Gas as a compact waiting or reception area. Outfitted with seating, lighting, and ventilation, it supports client-facing operations. Its portability and refined interior make it ideal for companies needing temporary or relocatable front-office infrastructure.
Security Guard Room - Kelsy Homes, Biyagama
This compact security booth offers wide visibility, weatherproof build, and long-term durability. Built for Kelsey Homes, the unit supports 24/7 monitoring at gated entries or industrial premises. It includes electrical fittings, seating, and ventilation, and is quickly deployable to new sites as needed.

Commissioned by the Tourist Board, this unit is equipped with male/female restrooms, washbasins, and water-efficient fixtures. It's perfect for events or outdoor locations. Designed for hygiene, portability, and fast connection to utilities, it provides a quick solution to public sanitation needs in temporary or rural settings.
Sanitary Units - Palmyra Palm, Passikuda
This beachfront sanitary container, installed for Palmyra Palm Resort, includes guest washrooms finished in durable, easy-clean surfaces. Designed to withstand marine climates, it features corrosion-resistant materials and natural ventilation. It’s an ideal example of container-based solutions for coastal hospitality infrastructure.
ATM Unit - Union Bank
This containerized ATM booth for Union Bank provides security, brand visibility, and customer comfort. With steel-reinforced doors, insulation, lighting, and branding panels, it’s a mobile banking solution deployable in cities, suburbs, or events. NRICH delivered it as a ready-to-use, secure financial access point.
Laboratory Unit - CEB Piliyandala
A custom mobile lab created for the Ceylon Electricity Board, this unit includes bench space, storage, and instrument-ready wiring. It supports technical field operations in regions without permanent lab facilities. Built to industrial standards, it reflects NRICH’s adaptability to niche functional spaces.
Office Unit - De Silva Motors
This office unit was fabricated for De Silva Motors to serve as a mobile front-desk space. With room for workstations, clients, and basic storage, it maintains professionalism and practicality. It’s a great model for satellite offices or event-based operations.
Container Pool Designs
NRICH’s container pools repurpose shipping containers into luxury plunge pools for homes and resorts. With filtration, tiling, and reinforced lining, these pools are installed with minimal groundwork. They provide cost-effective, visually stunning aquatic features that can be relocated or customized per project.
Two Story Building - Peliyagoda
This multi-level modular facility includes office and storage areas stacked across two containers. Developed in Peliyagoda, it demonstrates how vertical space can be optimized in commercial projects. A full staircase and electrical network were integrated during offsite fabrication for easy deployment.

Constructed for the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, this two-story office container includes staff areas, meeting rooms, and storage. Delivered in Borella, it reflects government-trusted modular construction for fast, scalable institutional spaces in urban environments.
